Tyler Bradshaw

Credentials: PhD

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology in the Imaging Sciences Section. I obtained a PhD in Medical Physics from the University of Wisconsin in 2016. Our research focuses on leveraging machine learning to improve medical image processing, analysis, and interpretation. I have served on the Artificial Intelligence Task Force for the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI). I was also previously elected to serve on the SNMMI Board of Directors of the Physics, Instrumentation, and Data Science Council. Our lab explores novel multimodal methods for combining language modeling with medical image analysis. I am passionate about developing novel technologies that can improve patient and physician experiences in radiology. In addition to research, I am the Director of Clinical Nuclear Medicine Physics, and oversee the quality assurance program and physics support for PET and Nuclear Medicine at UW-Madison.
